Background noise
Whyyy! Why do some people not like others, why can't everyone in a group of friends be just that, Friends! I hate it when ppl don't like others in such a group and its all hidden in the background. It's very unsettling... but that's how it is i guess, its bound to happen...

What to do lah, it's all human nature I guess. And it's better for it to be background noise don't you think? If there was open out war, then those who are friends with both sides would be in a bit of a muddle wouldn't they? Having to be torn between loyalties is a position which is unfair to the nice ones who can get along with anyone. So in this case, hypocrisy is a good thing, it keeps the peace.
its quite a strain though.i don't like it either, just cos i hate being hypocritical.but its necessary.
